Private cruise questions
What is the difference between a shared and a private cruise?
A shared cruise is priced per person: you join other guests on a yacht allocated for your date. A private cruise is priced per yacht: the whole yacht is yours, and each yacht’s price includes a stated number of guests, with a charge for each additional guest up to its maximum.
Where does the cruise depart from?
Most of our yachts depart from Royal Langkawi Yacht Club. Certain yachts depart from other marinas or jetties, such as Jeti Dato’ Syed Omar, MSN Jetty and Jeti Pekan Rabu, depending on the yacht selected.
What places are covered during the cruise?
Our cruises commonly cover Eagle Square and Pasir Dagang, Pulau Lintang or Pulau Tuba. The actual route is subject to weather conditions and the captain’s discretion.
Is alcohol included?
Alcohol is included on a free-flow basis in most of our cruise packages, unless stated otherwise. The Non Alcohol Shared Amanpuri 2 cruise and the Basic RM99 cruise include no alcohol; other guests on the same yacht may be served alcohol. Alcohol is served to guests 21 and over.
Is the food halal?
Yes, all food served on our yachts and cruises is confirmed as halal by the operator.
Is swimming allowed during the cruise?
Yes, subject to the captain’s instructions, weather conditions and overall guest safety.
What happens if it rains?
If it rains during the cruise, we normally proceed as planned, subject to the captain’s assessment. The captain will do their best to navigate to an area with minimal rain and more suitable weather conditions. If there is an official weather warning or unsafe weather condition, the operator will make the necessary decision regarding the cruise. Guests will be informed as soon as possible if the cruise needs to be rescheduled or if a refund is applicable. Please note that rain alone does not automatically qualify for cancellation, rescheduling, or a refund if the guest chooses not to board.
What should we wear?
Comfortable, casual clothes suitable for a day on the water. If you plan to swim, bring swimwear and a change of clothes.
Can we celebrate a birthday or anniversary on board?
Yes. Our team can advise you on available arrangements and add-ons for your celebration.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Most yachts allow it, subject to the individual yacht’s policy. Please check with our team in advance which items are permitted.
What activities are available on board?
Depending on the yacht and package, guests can enjoy swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking and relaxing in the sea jacuzzi. For private yacht bookings, you can add activities such as jet ski, jet car and banana boat, subject to availability and additional charges.
