Operator policies
The cruises and charters on LangkawiCruise.com are run by licensed boat operators in Langkawi. This page summarises the rules each operator publishes for bookings made directly with it, as read in October 2026. If you book through us, our booking terms (shared cruises) or private charter terms apply, and your confirmation names the operator of your cruise. Where an operator’s own rule is better for you than our terms, for example a refund or a date change, we pass it on. These summaries are not the operators’ full terms, and the operators can change them.
Golden Eagle Cruise
If a thunderstorm, strong wind or dangerous waves stop all yachts from leaving the jetty: full refund, or a move to the next available date. Normal rain: the cruise goes, no refund. Guest cancels 3 days or more before: deposit refunded; 24 to 72 hours before a shared sunset cruise: 50% refunded; same day or no-show: no refund. Gina Leisure (G Luxury Tour Sdn Bhd)
Deposit 50%, balance 3 days before. Guest cancels more than 1 week before: up to 80% refunded at the operator’s discretion (no more than 50% on school and public holidays); less than 1 week before: deposit forfeited; less than 72 hours before: full charge, no refund or rescheduling; food and catering charges are not refunded. Arrival one hour after the start time: no-show, no refund. Rain: the charter proceeds, possibly later; extreme weather with a marine department warning: full refund. Yacht unable to sail for mechanical reasons before the charter: full refund. If guests decide not to sail when sailing is possible: 20% refunded. Arrive 30 minutes before embarkation.
Wise Lee Holidays Sdn Bhd
Acts as a booking facilitator for the cruise operator. Cancellation at least 72 hours before (the amount refunded is not stated). No-show, missed boarding, flight or ferry delay: no refund, no change. Late guests may reach the yacht by speedboat, RM250 per trip for up to 4 people. If the operator cancels for weather, sea conditions, maintenance or port instructions: rescheduling or a refund; for severe weather or mechanical failure, refunds may not be provided. Administrative and payment fees may not be refunded; refunds take 7 to 21 business days.
Victory Charters & Cruise
Booking confirmed after the deposit or full payment. Cancellation in writing: shared sunset cruise, refund if at least 3 days before; private charter, refund if at least 30 days before; later, no refund; refunds may carry processing charges. Date change: shared cruise at least 3 days before, private charter at least 30 days before, subject to availability and approval, price difference charged. No-show: no refund. The cruise leaves on time; a late guest may reach the yacht by speedboat, RM100 per trip one way, when available. A cruise is cancelled for weather only when the maritime authority prohibits sailing; rain, wind or rough sea alone do not give a right to cancel, move or a refund; after an official cancellation, rescheduling or a refund may be offered under the operator’s arrangements. Food allergies and dietary needs must be told in advance; the operator cannot guarantee that all food suits them. Alcohol only for guests of legal drinking age.
Avante Holidays Sdn Bhd
Deposit 50%, full payment one day before. Full refund: written cancellation at least 7 days before for a deposit paid at least 14 days before, and whenever the operator cancels. 50% refund: written cancellation at least 24 hours before, or with a medical certificate at least 6 hours before. No-show or cancellation less than 6 hours before: no refund. Late boarding by speedboat, RM280 for up to 8 people, within one hour of departure. Bad weather: the captains sail to safe areas; no separate weather refund.
Angeline Cruise (Tedulous Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd)
Deposit 50%, balance 3 days before. Changes and cancellations at least 7 days before; no refund for no-shows or cancellations less than 7 days before. Severe weather, machinery failure and other events beyond the operator’s control: alternatives or a new date may be offered, no refund. Unsafe or illegal behaviour: removal without refund.
Cosmova Yachts (Cosmova Yachting Group Sdn Bhd)
Cancellation within the window stated at purchase: full refund. Not appearing on time: no refund. Event cancelled by the operator: full refund.
Manta Cruises Sdn Bhd
Booking confirmed on full payment. Guest cancels in writing: more than 7 days before, full refund minus a processing fee; 4 to 7 days, 50%; 1 to 3 days, 25%; less than 24 hours or no-show, no refund. One free date change if asked more than 48 hours before, RM25 within 48 hours. Cancelled by the operator for weather, mechanical issues or official orders: full refund or a new date at no cost. Check-in 30 minutes before departure; a late guest may reach the yacht by longboat, RM150 per boat per trip.
